This special day is meant to remind all of appreciation for the very many things they did in life and be it through a simple phone call, a shared meal or maybe cherished memories. The love of grandparents is universal, regardless of the culture or family. To celebrate them now is to preserve their legacy for tomorrow and strengthen the ties that bind us together. Theirs is that physical or spiritual presence that tells us about where we actually come from and what truly matters.
