The Pakistan High Commission in India declared on Friday that it has approved visas for 94 Indian pilgrims to partake in the 316th Birth Anniversary Celebrations of Shiv Avtari Stguru Sant Shadaram Sahib in Sindh.
In a message on X, the High Commission expressed, “”@PakinIndia has granted 94 visas to Indian pilgrims for their trip to Pakistan to attend the 316th Birth Anniversary Celebrations of Shiv Avtari Stguru Sant Shadaram Sahib, at Shadani Darbar Hayat Pitafi, Sindh from 05-15 January 2025. ”

Earlier, on November 22, the High Commission issued a statement stating, “”Pakistan High Commission in New Delhi has provided 87 visas to Indian Hindu pilgrims for their travel to Pakistan to join the 316th Birth Anniversary Celebrations of Shiv Avtari Stguru Sant Shadaram Sahib, at Shadani Darbar Hayat Pitafi, Sindh from 24 November to 04 December 2024. ”
The statement additionally noted, “”On this occasion, Charge d’ Affairs, Mr. Saad Ahmad Warraich, extended his best wishes to the pilgrims for a rewarding and fulfilling journey. He also conveyed that Pakistan is dedicated to safeguarding sacred religious sites as well as offering necessary assistance to the visiting pilgrims. ”
It also pointed out, “”The issuance of visas falls under the framework of the Pakistan-India Protocol on Visits to Religious Shrines of 1974. “”
