As the year draws to a close, Jaipur is witnessing a surge in tourist numbers, with more than 50,000 visitors exploring the city’s tourist destinations and museums each day. On the preceding day, the footfall peaked at around 60,000, leading to traffic congestion from Badi Chaupad to Amer. The city’s tourist spots remained abuzz with activity from morning till evening, and this trend is expected to continue for the next week.

The festive season, coupled with Christmas celebrations, has attracted a considerable influx of tourists to Jaipur’s iconic landmarks. From Amer Fort and Jantar Mantar to Hawa Mahal and Nahargarh Fort, queues of eager tourists have become a common sight. Amer Fort, in particular, sees a daily footfall of 11,000 to 15,000 visitors, while Hawa Mahal attracts 10,000 to 15,000 tourists daily. Jantar Mantar, Albert Hall, and Nahargarh Fort also register a consistent flow of visitors, ranging from 7,000 to 15,000 each day.

The substantial increase in tourist activity has resulted in traffic congestion in the city, causing challenges for the police in managing the flow of vehicles. Key areas such as Badi Chaupad, Chandi Ki Taksal, and Jal Mahal have experienced significant traffic jams.

At the collective prayer meetings, Fathers, Pastors, and Reverends highlighted the message of love, generosity, and compassion that the Lord Jesus brought to humanity. They emphasized that the love of God towards humanity is the essence of Christmas.
