Who is Roshni Nadar Malhotra? India’s Third Richest Person After Ambani & Adani

Roshni Nadar Malhotra has solidified her position as one of the richest persons in India, ranking third behind Mukesh Ambani and Gautam Adani. Her ascent to this lofty status comes in the wake of a major succession transaction that handed over a large chunk of HCL Corporation’s shares to her, solidifying her power in India’s corporate scene.

Massive Stake Transfer Positions Roshni Nadar as HCL Chairperson

On 6 March, Shiv Nadar, the HCL Technologies founder, made a historic move by giving away 47% of his holding in Vama Sundari Investments (Delhi) Private Limited and HCL Corporation Private Limited to his daughter. Transferring the holding with two gift deeds has provided Roshni with majority control over HCL Technologies and HCL Infosystems, the market leaders under the HCL Group.

This transition cements Roshni’s role as a key decision-maker in one of India’s largest technology conglomerates. With this move, she now holds the largest shareholder position in HCL Corp, further strengthening her leadership in the business world.
