Union Minister Amit Shah to start high-level security meeting on J&K today

Union Minister Amit Shah is going to start an online meeting on high-level security pertaining to the situations in Jammu and Kashmir on Thursday.

While an incident between terrorists and security personnel was taking place in the Chakoora area of South Kashmir’s Shopian district, information regarding the security review meeting was conveyed to the relevant officials.

The meeting is scheduled to begin at roughly 3 pm in the Ministry of Home Affairs’ North Block office.

The Home Minister, who has pushed for zero tolerance against terrorists, is anticipated to assess the security grid’s operation as well as other security-related issues.

Manoj Sinha, the Lieutenant Governor of J&K, Ajay Bhalla, the Director of Police for J&K, Dilbagh Singh, and other officials from the departments of Home Affairs and the Central Armed Police will all be there. IB will also attend the review meeting in addition to the RAW Chief and Director.
