Now, Taking to X officially, Elon Musk has recently announced that the site formerly called Twitter, has now fully transitioned to x.com.
A pop-up notification later greeted the users who were accessing this social media platform and said “Welcome to x.com! We are letting you know that we are changing our URL, but your privacy and data protection settings remain the same.”
He further announced, “All core systems are now on x.com.” He also posted a logo’s image with white X on a blue circle.
This logo also contained two shades of blue and it is still a mystery, whether musk will change the colour of this logo or not.
The official handle too posted the tweet saying ”“x dot com.”
Meanwhile, the reaction regarding this domain change was filled with excitement among the users.
One declared ”“x.com marks the spot!”. Another said “Finally, Elon Musk’s dream comes true. Never bet against this man!”
In this tweet, the user simply appreciated the vision of Elon’s dream. But one gave a peculiar reaction and nostalgically called for Twitter.
“We are still gonna call it Twitter.” said one user.
Earlier, Elon Musk acquired twitter with a deal of $44 billion in October 2022. And announced its rebranding last year.
Since then, it has undergone various changes like being rebranded as X, terms like tweets” to “posts” and “retweets” to “reposts”etc.
