Tata Motors Set to Unveil the Tata Curv: A Stylish Coupe SUV with ICE and Electric Options

Tata Motors is gearing up to unveil its latest car in the Indian market, the Tata Curv, which will be available in both traditional fuel and electric versions. The launch is scheduled for July 19, with unofficial bookings already underway at dealerships across India. This new model continues Tata’s trend of offering both internal combustion engine (ICE) and electric options, similar to their Tiago, Tigor, Punch, and Nexon models.

The Tata Curv was previously showcased as a concept at various auto shows in India, and now the production version is set to be revealed. It’s designed as a coupe SUV, a style that blends elements of SUVs with a sloping roofline typical of coupes. Expect the Curv to feature modern design cues like sleek LED lights, flush-fitting door handles, and unique alloy wheels.

Inside, the Tata Curv promises a feature-packed experience with a focus on digital interfaces. It will likely include a large 10.25-inch touchscreen, a minimalist cabin design, and advanced safety features, possibly including an ADAS suite. Tata Motors, known for its emphasis on safety, is expected to equip the Curv with robust safety systems, following the path of their previous models that achieved high safety ratings in crash tests.

Powering the Tata Curv will be a range of engines depending on the variant. The ICE version might offer options like a 1.2-liter turbo-petrol engine or a 1.5-liter diesel, available with manual and automatic transmissions. Meanwhile, the Curv EV, based on Tata’s Acti.ev platform, is likely to feature a 55 kWh battery providing around 500 km of range on a single charge.

Overall, the Tata Curv aims to blend style, technology, and performance, catering to both traditional and electric vehicle enthusiasts in the Indian market.
