State Govt holds Workshop to provide ‘Quality Education’

The State Education Minister, Jaahida Khan, has emphasized that amidst changing times and evolving technology, the School Education Department must prioritize providing ‘Quality Education’ to children as the central goal of the “Rajasthan Mission-2030.” She said, “Making students capable of facing global challenges through quality education is our greatest responsibility.”
On Tuesday, Ms. Khan addressed the State-level workshop organized by the School Education Department under the “Rajasthan Mission-2030” at the Hotel Hayat in Malviya Nagar.
The Education Minister mentioned that under the visionary leadership of Chief Minister Ashok Gehlot, significant changes have occurred in the field of school education in Rajasthan. During his first term, Chief Minister Gehlot initiated the opening of Rajeev Gandhi Pathshalas (schools) in rural areas and hamlets, ensuring that education reaches even the remotest parts of the state. During his second term, the focus shifted to improving the quality of education in schools and colleges. Ms. Khan noted that the current government is making crucial improvements in the education sector by opening new colleges in all districts and initiating the Mahatma Gandhi English Medium Schools in urban and rural areas.
Furthermore, the Secretary of Education, Navin Jain, explained that in the context of “Rajasthan Mission-2030,” the School Education Department’s role is of utmost importance as it determines the landscape of education throughout the state. Parameters such as human resources, accessibility, and the number of beneficiaries are vital for this mission. He highlighted that a detailed work plan was prepared to develop a ‘Vision Document’ for the department under “Rajasthan Mission-2030.”
Jain also mentioned that the department will hold workshops at the district level on September 6, 2023, involving all Joint Directors in the same pattern. Furthermore, on September 12 and September 18, discussions will be held with stakeholders in separate groups to discuss “Rajasthan Mission-2030.”
