But traditional medical practices laid the groundwork for contemporary medicine’s development, which in turn helped it get to this point.

The best thing about Ayurvedic medicine is that it may both prevent and cure ailments. Even if you don’t currently have any eye ailments, you should still take Ayurvedic medicine because it can keep you healthy and protect your eyes from regular problems. The following simple herbal Ayurvedic treatments can help reduce eye strain:

1. Triphala
Triphala is a herbal mixture consisting of three fruits: amalaki, bibhitaki, and haritaki. Its benefits include clearing the eyes, reducing inflammation, and relaxing the muscles surrounding the eyes. It can be ingested or used topically to the eyes.

2. Aloe Vera
Eye strain can be lessened by the soothing, cooling properties of aloe vera. After fifteen minutes, carefully remove any residue from the eyes by using pure aloe vera gel around them.

3. Cucumber
Cucumber slices cool the eyes and reduce strain in the area around them. Place slices of cooled cucumber on closed eyelids and leave for ten to fifteen minutes.

4. The amla, or Indian gooseberry
Slices of cucumber soothe the eyes and ease surrounding tension. After cooling, place cucumber slices over closed eyes and let them sit for ten to fifteen minutes.

5. Fennel seeds
Fennel seeds have a relaxing effect on the eyes and can help reduce eye strain. Use the cooled liquid as an eye wash after adding water to the crushed fennel seeds and filtering.
