This attack occurred just one day before the first anniversary of Hamas’s attack on October 7, 2023. In a separate incident, Hezbollah claimed responsibility for a drone strike on a maintenance and rehabilitation base south of Haifa. The group announced they had launched an air assault, using a squadron of attack drones, marking an escalation of tensions in the region.
