Raghav Chadha of Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) made his first public appearance in months on Saturday as he arrived at the CM’s official house in the nation’s capital.
Earlier this month in the UK, Chadha had undergone emergency vitrectomy surgery for his eye condition. His absence drew further criticism, but the party had stated that the AAP MP will participate in the party’s Lok Sabha election campaign as soon as he recovered.
Issuing a statement on May 2, Delhi minister Saurabh Bharadwaj had said, “Raghav Chadha has undergone a major eye surgery in the UK. It is said that his condition was serious, and there was a possibility of blindness. As soon as he gets better, he will return to India and join us in the election campaigning.”
