Operation 3rd eye: Kishtwar police challans 60 violators for traffic offences

In a relentless drive to enforce traffic regulations, Kishtwar Police has issued challans to 60 violators under the Motor Vehicle Act for offenses including wrong parking, driving without a helmet, and overloading in Kishtwar town. Under the guidance of SSP Kishtwar, Abdul Qayoom-JKPS, a dedicated team was formed to oversee traffic enforcement. Utilizing technical aids such as CCTV surveillance, the team captured photographs and conducted videography of traffic rule violations. The identification of vehicles was facilitated through the number plate reading system. Subsequently, upon confirming the residential addresses of vehicle owners, copies of the violations along with photographic evidence were sent to their residences.
