Nicobar Island hits by a 4.1 magnitude earthquake

According to the National Center for Seismology (NCS), an earthquake with a magnitude of 4.1 on the Richter scale occurred on Sunday at a depth of 10 kilometers on Nicobar Island.

As per the NCS, an earthquake of a magnitude of 4.6 on the Richter scale occurred 140 kilometers ENE of Port Blair, Andaman and Nicobar Island, on April 5.
The earthquake happened about 10.47 p.m.
