An onboard passenger man in an Air India US flight urinated on a woman co-passenger, a senior citizen, seated in a business class seat.
Meanwhile, a report has been sought of the incident by the Directorate General of Civil Aviation (DGCA) from the airline.
“We are seeking a report from the Airline and shall take action against those found negligent,” the DGCA said on Wednesday.
Regarding this incident, a police complaint has been lodged by Air India that took place on November 26. From John F Kennedy international airport in New York to Delhi the flight was on its way.
“Air India has lodged a police complaint regarding the incident which took place on November 26 when the flight was on its way from JFK to Delhi,” an Air India official said.
Moreover, an internal committee has been formed by the Air India and the male passenger will be placed on a “no-fly list.”
To a government-appointed committee, the matter has been sent for investigation and in the concerning matter the decision is awaited.
