Heavy rain on Wednesday morning, floods at Rasayani police station in Maharashtra’s Raigad district hampered operations.
The entire police station, including the rooms, was inundated, and officers had to wade through more than a foot of water. Raigad Superintendant of Police (SP), Somnath Gharge, stated that the Rasayani police station has been submerged due to the city’s severe rainfall.
The SP also stated that a community on the river bank flooded following a strong downpour, and that residents had to be evacuated and relocated to safer areas.
