On Wednesday, India reported 3,720 new Covid-19 cases, a little increase from the 3,325 infections reported on Tuesday. On Monday, 4,282 Covid-19 cases had been reported. India’s active caseload is at 40,177, accounting for 0.09 percent of total cases.
In the last 24 hours, 7,698 Covid patients recovered, bringing the overall number of recoveries to 4,43,84,955. The daily positivity rate is currently 2.49 percent, while the weekly positivity rate is 3.46 percent.
According to the Health Ministry, 92.70 crore Covid tests have been performed in the country thus far, with 1,50,735 tests performed in the last 24 hours. The recovery rate is 98.73 percent.
