NEW DELHI: Noting that the world appreciates the resolve shown by India in dealing with the surge of cases in the second wave of Covid-19, External Affairs Minister S Jaishankar said on Thursday that demand for medical oxygen went up eight-nine times and “we have come through test of fire”.
Addressing CII Annual Meeting 2021, Jaishankar said the scale, intensity, seriousness of the second wave of the pandemic was something very difficult to anticipate.
