Ex-CM Hooda demands CBI Probe into Harassment allegations at Uchana

Former Chief Minister Bhupinder Singh Hooda has called for a thorough investigation into the allegations of harassment at a school in Uchana, suggesting that it should be conducted either by the CBI or a High Court-appointed judge. He strongly advocated for this investigation to be conducted under the purview of either the Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI) or a judge appointed by the High Court, underlining the seriousness of the matter.
During an engagement with journalists at the PWDC Rest House in Peepli, Hooda didn’t mince words regarding the incumbent government’s lack of developmental endeavors in the past nine years. He pointed out the halted progress and developmental standstill observed since their term ended.
Expressing deep concern about reported cases of student harassment in government schools in Uchana, Hooda suggested a possible shielding of the accused by influential figures. He criticized the government’s silence on the matter and pressed for an unbiased inquiry, either by the CBI or a High Court-appointed judge.
Regarding the ‘Vikas Sheel Haryana Yatra’ (Development-oriented Haryana Journey), Hooda vehemently criticized it as a misuse of state machinery. His outspoken remarks highlighted the urgency for a thorough investigation into the alleged harassment incidents, signaling dissatisfaction with the current administration’s handling of the issue.
