Residents of Dhannowali village under Ward No. 10 expressed their anger through a protest against the municipal administration and the government. Aman, Surendra, and others, voicing their frustration, revealed that despite their repeated requests, the road in their area, damaged during maintenance, has not been repaired by the contractor. Furthermore, the development of a sewerage bottleneck has added to their grievances. The residents, driven to frustration, staged a demonstration today to draw the government’s attention. If the issues persist, they warn of surrounding the municipal premises and the residences of officials.
Aman, a resident said, “We have tried to showcase our issues today through a protest. If the problems persist, we will surround the municipal premises and the houses of officials.”
