Delhi: Fire Erupts At Factory In Okhla Phase 2

A large fire erupted early Friday in a factory situated in the Okhla Phase 2 area of the national capital city. Upon receiving the alert, officials from the fire department swiftly responded with fire tenders dispatched to the scene. Efforts are currently ongoing to extinguish the fire, with firefighting operations continuing at the site.

On Tuesday morning, a fire broke out in the front section of the ground floor of the Old Casualty Building at Safdarjung Hospital in the national capital. Officials reported that the incident occurred around 10:20 AM, and the local security guard promptly responded to extinguish it.

There were no casualties reported, and the damage to property was minimal. Subsequently, the Medical Superintendent convened a meeting with stakeholders, including CPWD, the Estate department, and the Fire Management Team. CPWD has been assigned to conduct a thorough assessment to ascertain the extent of damage and required repairs.
