The CIA staff of Firozpur police, led by ASI Gurmeet Singh, apprehended two individuals engaged in illegal activities, seizing two pistols, a revolver, and live cartridges.
Providing details, SP Investigation Ferozepur Randhir Kumar stated that during a routine patrol and inspection of suspicious individuals near Kilewala Chowk, the Firozpur police received confidential information. The tip indicated that Sahil, also known as Sam, son of Suraj Vasi, from Village Khalchiyan Kadim, and David Bhatti, son of Bhola Bhatti, residents of Police Station Kambo in District Amritsar, were involved in unlawful activities. The information further suggested that they possessed illegal firearms, currently located near the bus stand in Village Khalchiya Kadim, and were planning to carry out an unspecified incident.
Acting swiftly, the police team, under the guidance of ASI Gurmeet Singh, conducted a raid at the specified location, resulting in the arrest of the aforementioned individuals. Two 32-bore pistols, one 32-bore revolver, and eight live cartridges were recovered during the operation. The arrested suspects have been charged under the Arms Act at Sadar Firozpur police station, and they are currently undergoing interrogation.
