BSF personnel discovered a damaged China-made drone in a harvested field in Tarn Taran district on Friday, according to Border Security Force (BSF) officials.
“At approximately 03:30 pm on May 3, while performing duties related to border fence gate management, observant BSF troops heard a crushing noise emanating from underneath a tractor advancing towards a farming field beyond the fence for harvesting,” BSF officials stated.
Upon hearing the sound, the troops promptly halted the tractor and found a broken drone beneath its tire.
This incident occurred in a harvested field near the village of Kalia in Tarn Taran District.
In a statement posted on ‘X’ by BSF Punjab Frontier, it was mentioned, “The drone recovered has been identified as a China-made DJI Mavic 3 Classic.”
The vigilant BSF personnel once again intercepted a drone employed in the illicit transportation of narcotics across the border, the statement added.
