At the time of the local body elections, a sudden message was sent to the BJP at Umiyadham in Ahmedabad, saying that the Leuva and Kadwa Patidar leaders were jointly excluding the Patidars from the government and administration. Since then, the BJP’s parliamentary board meeting has begun, in which candidates will be selected, in the meantime, the BJP is now likely to be forced to consider the names of the Patidars.
According to BJP sources, though damage like 2015 could not happen in the 2021 elections, the way the party has formed a panel of candidates did not have a strong voice of the Patidars. Now that the Patidars have shown unity, the Patidars have to reconsider. It is possible.
The political heat has spread in the state as the Patidars have come to a stage before the local body elections.
