Bengaluru CEO Accused of Killing Son Had Informed Husband a Day Before Tragedy Unfolded

In a horrifying twist to the murder of a four-year-old in Goa, Suchana Seth, CEO of ‘The Mindful AI Lab,’ is accused of killing her son and stuffing the body in a bag on January 8. Startling details have emerged, suggesting that Seth texted her estranged husband just days before the heinous crime, asking him to meet their child.

The 39-year-old AI ethics expert allegedly murdered a bitter custody battle with her husband, Venkat Raman. The Bengaluru woman showed no remorse, according to police sources, for the gruesome act or her involvement in it.

Investigations revealed that on January 6, Seth messaged Raman, allowing him to meet their son the next day. However, as both Seth and the child were not in Bengaluru on that day, the meeting did not materialize. Raman, unaware of their location, left for Indonesia on the same day.

On January 8, the day of the crime, the post-mortem revealed that the child was smothered to death, possibly with a piece of cloth or a pillow. Ms Seth was swiftly arrested in Chitradurga, Karnataka, and transported to Goa.

The couple’s tumultuous history was highlighted in their divorce documents, where Seth filed a domestic violence case against Raman in August 2022, accusing him of physical abuse towards her and their son. The court issued a restraining order against Raman, prohibiting him from communicating with Seth or the child but granting him visitation rights. This move allegedly upset Seth, adding a layer of complexity to the tragic events that unfolded.

Suchana Seth’s chilling actions have not only shocked the public but also raised questions about the impact of personal conflicts on individuals in prominent professional positions. The investigation continues as authorities delve deeper into the motives behind this gruesome act.
