The accused, declared offender Sher Singh from Ratangarh village, Pehowa police station, Kurukshetra district, was apprehended in a car theft case at Industrial Area Phase 1 police station.
During the trial of the accused in the theft case, he remained absent in court. The court had declared him a proclaimed offender. The accused was arrested and presented before the court, where he was remanded into judicial custody. The second accused declared offender Suraj Pal alias Sahil from WUS Colony, Dhanas, Chandigarh, was arrested in a stolen auto case.
