In an encounter with security forces, two terrorists were killed on Tuesday in Budgam, Jammu, and Kashmir.
Meanwhile, between security forces and terrorists, encounters took place, and to nab them, gunshots were also heard.
Taking to Twitter, the Kashmir Zone Police said, “On specific input, the joint area domination party of Army and Police tried to stop one suspected vehicle, terrorists fired, and in retaliation, two terrorists were killed. Arms/ammunition recovered near Court Complex in District Budgam. Details shall follow.”
Moreover, both terrorists have been identified as LeT cadres, Arbaaz Mir and Shahid Sheikh of Pulwama. Both terrorists had escaped from a recent encounter. The vehicle was on its way from Budgam toward Mirgund.

Earlier on 15 January, at Redbugh in the Magam area, an encounter was started by the Jammu and Kashmir Police. “Encounter has started at Redbugh, Magam area of Budgam. Police and security forces are on the job. Further details shall follow,” the Kashmir police tweeted.
