1 dead, several others injured in bus-truck collision

One person was killed and several others were injured after a bus collided with a truck from behind near Shobhapur village in Madhya Pradesh’s Narmadapuram district on Tuesday morning.

Around 41 passengers were travelling in the bus at the time of the accident. Dense fog is considered the likely reason for the accident.

Narmadapuram Collector Neeraj Kumar Singh said, “One passenger died on the spot while 12 passengers were admitted to pipariya hospital and six passengers were referred to Narmadapuram District Hospital.”
