A chaotic scene unfolded at an inauguration event in Saharsa, Bihar, where Chief Minister Nitish Kumar’s departure led to a fish frenzy. After the CM laid the foundation for various government schemes and visited a Biofloc fish tank exhibit, attendees swarmed the tank once his helicopter left, grabbing fish by hand. Despite efforts by officials to stop the looting, people, including children, continued to fish.
One local, Divyanshu Kumar, admitted, “I did not meet Nitish Kumar but got some fish… there will be a fish party in the name of Nitish Kumar.”
The event, initially meant to highlight government initiatives, quickly turned into pandemonium as the crowd focused on securing a fish-filled feast rather than meeting the politician.
