ERVIN CHANG BIRDIES THE 7TH STORY: Australia’s Jack Thompson and Bjorn Hellgren of Sweden share the lead after the third round of the Saudi Open on Friday (December 12).      Hellgren, who started the day in second place, carded a five under par round of 67 to join Thompson at the top of the leaderboard on 18 under par for the tournament.      American Charles Porter sits in third place on 16 under par after a round of 65.     Thompson’s form seems to have erased fears he would not keep his Asian Tour card for next year. The Aussie came into the season-ending event in 62nd place overall for the season, with only the top 65 keeping their cards.  (Production: Andy Ragg)
