PLAYERS, INCLUDING MITCHELL; MUNOZ; AND DEFENDER, JAYDEE CANVOT (CENTRE) IN A RONDO DRILL STORY: Crystal Palace trained on Wednesday (November 26) as they face a fixture pile-up that sees them play 10 games before the end of 2025. The Eagles are still competing in European and domestic competitions, with two wins from three in the UEFA Conference League, and will face Arsenal in the quarter-finals of the League Cup. They also sit in fifth place in the Premier League. Oliver Glasner’s side are playing in Europe courtesy of the club’s first major trophy, winning the FA Cup last season, but the manager is yet to agree to a contract extension. His deal is up at the end of the season. The South-London club may also lose club captain Marc Guehi as early as January. The England international has signalled to the club he has no intention of signing a new contract, and was close to joining Liverpool on deadline day in August. They may also see interest in star talents Adam Wharton and Jean Phillipe-Mateta. The pair will have eyes on the 2026 World Cup with their respective nations, and have been standout performers as the Eagles are experiencing one of the greatest periods in the clubs history.
