Mumtaz Khan wrapped up her hat-trick with goals in the 32nd and 38th minute, while Navneet Kaur found the net again in the 28th minute to replicate her teammate’s feat. Neha scored a brace, and Lalremsiami, Sharmila Devi, and Rutuja Pisal scored one each, making India’s supremacy evident on the scorecard.

Road To Super 4s for India After Win Against Singapore

With this thumping win, India consolidated their place in Pool B. The top two sides from each pool will proceed to the Super 4s round, with the top two then battling it out for the final on September 14.

A win in the Asia Cup is particularly significant as it ensures qualification for the 2026 Women’s World Cup that will be staged in Belgium and the Netherlands. World number 10 India showed they are ready to take the next step in the competition, with their attack coming together and sending a telling message to their continental counterparts.
