The torque curve is the best in the industry. 130 Newton metres of torque. 70% of that torque coming from about five or 6,000 revs. So, it gives you tremendous acceleration through the range. It's record-breaking breaking. So, the first production bike to give every rider over one G in terms of deceleration and then a frame that's designed to optimise performance on the road. So, you get a good feel when hard over in the corners. It'll just absolutely rock your world in terms of the experience you get when you ride it.” SOLIHULL, ENGLAND, UNITED KINGDOM (FILE) (NORTON MOTORCYCLES – Broadcast: Editorial news use only. State of the art, AI supervised, torque measured. These are incredibly high-quality facilities. We've been building the workforce up in Solihull, in the UK. So, we've got a tremendous base of skill. We've got a tremendous skill in Italy and in India. So amazing, amazing capability and we are looking forward to making these bikes and then sharing them with all of you." I think firstly, the designs are iconic, they’re most beautiful bikes in the industry. They always have been, and these are no different. I think the performance and feel they give the rider is unbelievable. Yeah, the bikes everyone grew up riding were TT (Isle of Man Tourist Trophy) winners and had been across the globe. Yeah, you'll have heard the story of (founder James Lansdowne) Norton riding one of our bikes in 1921 from the UK to South Africa. So, these are amazing bikes." VARIOUS OF MOTORCYCLES AND AUDIENCE AT THE NORTON EXHIBITION ROOM AT EICMA MILAN STORY: British auto manufacturer Norton has announced its first-ever motorcycles ever since the company was purchased by India's TVS Motor Company in 2020. The flagship bike Manx R along with three more newly unveiled rides were revealed at the EICMA motorbike show in Milan on Tuesday (November 4). With two more bikes to be launched in 2026, this new announcement marks the return of Norton which has endured as a leading British motor brand since it was founded in 1898. The brand's motorcycles were further immortalized in popular culture with Argentine revolutionary Ernesto "Che" Guevara riding a Norton bike in his early travels that formed the basis of his book "The Motorcycle Diaries." Other famous Norton riders include actors Clint Eastwood, Orlando Bloom and Keanu Reeves. While Norton initially operated from Birmingham, the company has now moved its manufacturing unit and headquarters to Solihull in England's West Midlands. Earlier during UK Prime Minister Keir Starmer's visit to India in October 2025, TVS Motor had confirmed a £250 million ($326,145,000) investment to build new bikes at Solihull and creating 300 new jobs. Commenting on the legacy of the company's 127-year history, Norton Executive Director Richard Arnold told Reuters on Tuesday: "The bikes everyone grew up riding were TT (Isle of Man Tourist Trophy) winners and they've been across the globe." A long-time Norton owner himself, Arnold added: "I think that the engineering and the performance they have is second to none and they're just a real way of expressing yourself, the individualism and the style. And I think that's been echoed in the bikes you are seeing today." (Production: Shaurya Thapa)
