The Asian Cricket Council (ACC) on Saturday announced the hosts of the forthcoming Men’s Asia Cup 2025. The marquee group stage game between India and Pakistan will be hosted by the Dubai International Stadium on September 14. Afghanistan will face Hong Kong in the opening match of the T20 tournament in Abu Dhabi, while the last match will be held in Dubai on September 28.
The anger keeps escalating over India’s decision to play against Pakistan in spite of the Pahalgam terror attack and Operation Sindoor. But in the midst of all the talks, the ACC actually confirmed the venues for the Men’s Asia Cup.
Potential Triple Clash Between India and Pakistan
India and Pakistan could possibly meet on three instances in the tournament to be held in the T20 format so that teams can prepare themselves for the World Cup next year.

If India and Pakistan advance to the Super Fours, then they will face each other in the following round, and if the two teams advance to the final, then there will be a third encounter between the two teams.
Tournament Dates and India’s Opening Match
Men’s Asia Cup will be contested between September 9-28. India will open their campaign on September 10 when they face the United Arab Emirates at Dubai International Stadium.
India, Pakistan, UAE and Oman have been grouped together in Group A, whereas Bangladesh, Sri Lanka, Afghanistan and Hong Kong comprise Group B. The tournament schedule was released last year. But the ACC had only recently declared that the competition would be hosted in the UAE. The venues were not declared at that time.
