A terrifying video shows a small plane crashing into a moving car on a jammed stretch of Interstate 95 while attempting an emergency landing on Monday.
According to eyewitnesses, the shocking incident captured on camera led to the closure of the interstate and severely disrupted the evening traffic flow.

Engine Problem Leads to Emergency Landing
The aircraft, a fixed-wing Beechcraft 55, was forced to make an emergency descent onto the southbound lanes of I-95 in the Melbourne–Viera area. Authorities confirmed that the pilot had reported engine trouble moments before attempting the landing.

Plane Hits Moving Camry on Highway
During the emergency landing, the plane struck a 2023 Toyota Camry traveling on the highway. The driver, a 57-year-old woman, sustained minor injuries and was rushed to a nearby hospital for treatment.
Miraculously, the two men on board the 27-year-old Orlando-based pilot and his 27-year-old passenger — walked away from the wreckage without injury. Both the aircraft and the vehicle suffered significant damage.
Ongoing Investigation
The Federal Aviation Administration has taken over the investigation to determine what caused the engine failure and forced the pilot to land on the busy interstate. Meanwhile, Florida Highway Patrol is conducting a separate inquiry into the vehicle collision.
Crews worked for hours to remove the wreckage, shutting down multiple lanes of I-95 near mile marker 201.
The highway later reopened, but the dramatic incident serves as a stark reminder of the dangers when aircraft emergencies occur near populated areas. This was reportedly the second small-plane emergency landing in Central Florida on the same day.
