The IBPS commenced the official Pre-Exam Training (PET) call letter release for the IBPS PO Preliminary Exam 2025.
Call letters for this training will be available from August 11, 2025, on the official IBPS website to those qualified to receive the training, mainly from the reserved categories. The PET is conducted to enable candidates to augment their exam preparation before the conduct of the preliminary examination.
What is the consideration & where does it permit one?
The PET scheme is aimed at candidates belonging to the Scheduled Castes (SC), Scheduled Tribes (ST), Other Backward Classes (OBC), Persons with Benchmark Disabilities (PwBD) and minority communities, who opted for this training at the time of registration.

Training is provided in areas such as reasoning ability, quantitative aptitude, English language skills, and time management. In addition to theoretical lessons, candidates are provided mock tests and doubt clearance sessions so that they can adjust to the online exam format and develop some confidence.
Important Dates and the Procedure to Download
The Pre-Examination Training is scheduled from August 11 to August 16, 2025, while the Preliminary Examination is agendized for August 17, 23, and 24, 2025.
Candidates may visit www.ibps.in to download the PET Call letters by following these steps:
- Enter the website address of IBPS.
- Click on CRP PO/MT under the Recruitment tab.
- Then select “Download IBPS PO PET Call Letter 2025.”
- Enter Registration Number with a Password or Date of Birth.
- Download the call letter and print it, which is mandatory for entering the training.
Important Highlights to IBPS PO Recruitment
This year the IBPS recruits 5,208 Probationary Officers. The qualification includes a graduation degree and age from 20 to 30 years.
