The state Congress has called a meeting of the legislature party on Tuesday. This meeting will be held at the Pradesh Congress headquarters in Chandpol. The meeting will be chaired by the state Congress president Govind Singh Dotasra. Present at the meeting will be the current Chief Minister Ashok Gehlot along with all the MLAs. The meeting will include a review of the Congress’s defeat in the elections. There may also be discussions regarding the Leader of the Opposition.
It is worth noting that the situation in the Rajasthan Legislative Assembly elections between the Congress and the BJP is clear. The BJP has made significant gains in Rajasthan. Chief Minister Ashok Gehlot, from the Congress party, has accepted defeat. The Congress party is confined to 69 seats. Now, the party will review the reasons for its defeat.
The legislature party meeting was initially scheduled for Monday, but it has now been called on Tuesday. All MLAs have been informed about this meeting. All the winning MLAs will come to Jaipur to participate in the meeting. In addition to the MLAs, prominent leaders of the Congress party may also be present at the legislature party meeting.
