The Union Territory of Jammu and Kashmir has been moving toward development over the past two years as a result of government initiatives, including various development schemes that focused on individual beneficiaries and revived long-pending projects that had lain dormant for several decades by removing the obstacles, through ensuring effective and transparent administration. One such example is recently built Zoji La tunnel, As part of an ongoing project to improve connectivity in the region, 19 tunnels are being constructed at a cost of Rs 25,000 crore. As of now, it is said to be India’s longest tunnel. Some of it’s pictures surfaced recently on social media, which made this hashtag trending. Netizens are commenting over these ongoing development projects in Kashmir region.
