In a decisive move against encroachment, the Municipal Corporation Heritage and Municipal Corporation Greater jointly confiscated a total of 10 vehicles in a recent operation. The action comes in response to the stern warning issued by Civil Line MLA Gopal Sharma against encroachers, leading to the continued crackdown on temporary encroachments for the third consecutive day.
Under the guidance of Heritage Corporation Vigilance Deputy Commissioner SK Mehraniya, the operation targeted areas such as Khasa Kothi, Sindhi Camp, Polovictory, and Railway Station, among others, to clear temporary encroachments from public spaces and footpaths.
The Vigilance Branch, led by Deputy Commissioner Dr Sandhya Yadav, took swift action, resulting in the removal of illegal encroachments and the seizure of three truckloads of goods, which were subsequently deposited in the Janata Market warehouse.
Additionally, seven container goods were seized by the temporary teams operating under the leadership of Deputy Commissioner Vigilance Dr Sandhya Yadav.
The crackdown covered various locations in the Municipal Corporation Jaipur jurisdiction, including JDA Circle, JLN Marg, Airport Road, Jawahar Circle, JK Lone Hospital, Bangar Hospital, SMS Hospital, Sahakar Marg, Gandhi Circle, RTO intersection, Lalkothi Mandi, Jhalana Dungri Road, Kelgiri Road, and Mansarovar, among others.
