Har Simrat Kaur Badal, the Member of Parliament from Bathinda and Shiromani Akali Dal leader, targeted the Aam Aadmi Party on Monday. She stated that there is a reign of gangsters in Punjab, with farmers, laborers, youth, and employees protesting. The AAP government hasn’t fulfilled any promises; no woman received the promised amount in 20 months. Allegations were made that MGNREGA workers are intimidated to attend rallies.
She questioned where AAP would secure 13 seats in this atmosphere, suggesting it’s a facade for the nation. In a rally in Bathinda on Sunday, AAP’s National Convener Arvind Kejriwal urged Punjab’s people to win all 13 seats for AAP. Har Simrat Kaur Badal expressed regret that Punjab’s funds are being looted; both Arvind Kejriwal and Bhagwant Mann are together looting. Illegal mining is rampant, posing a security threat at the border; even bridges at the border can collapse anytime. Accusations were made against ministers regarding illegal mining. She highlighted how Punjab’s rights are being weakened in every possible way. She also alleged that Punjab’s water is being sent to Haryana and Rajasthan. The state is under the rule of gangsters, and people are protesting.
