Mount Abu records freezing temp, fog disrupts flights

The winds coming from the mountains to the plains in the state are cooling the plain areas. The situation is such that shivering has increased in the morning now. The temperature at the Mount Abu freezing point, i.e., 0 degrees Celsius, has been recorded. Due to this, dewdrops were seen on plants in the morning on Mount Abu. Meanwhile, the night temperature of 8 cities in the state has been recorded below 10 degrees. Not only Rajasthan but other states are also experiencing the impact of the fog on the weather. The situation is such that 10 flights were diverted at Jaipur Airport from morning to evening on Friday.
According to the Meteorological Department, the night temperature of Fatehpur in Sikar, apart from Mount Abu, was 5, Sikar was 6, and Churu was 6.6. In Jodhpur, Jalore, Pali, and Bharatpur, there was fog in the morning, but as the day progressed, the weather cleared. Weather experts say that similar fluctuations in temperature will continue in the state for the next 4-5 days.
Flights were diverted
Due to the weather, several flights landing at Delhi Airport were diverted. These included flights arriving in Delhi from Dubai, Chennai, Kolkata, Mumbai, Bangalore, Hyderabad, and Muscat. A total of 10 flights were diverted at Jaipur Airport throughout the day. After the weather cleared, they later departed for Delhi.
