The inauguration of the Bharat Sankalp Yatra-2023 developed in the Nagar Nigam Heritage Civil Lines Zone, has taken place. Civil Lines MLA Dr Gopal Sharma, who chaired the program, received complaints from people that leases were not being issued. In response, he directed Mayor Munesh Gurjar and Commissioner Rajendra Singh Shekhawat to ensure that leases are issued from next week. During this, Shekhawat said that the work of issuing leases was stopped due to the Model Code of Conduct, which has now been resumed to streamline it.
Meanwhile, regarding the Sankalp Yatra, he said, “the journey officially started today, but unofficially it began more than 9 years ago with the appointment of Narendra Modi as the Prime Minister.”
He said, “This development journey will continue uninterrupted until the completion of 100 years of the country’s independence in 2047. In this, cities will change, but Bharat Mata will remain the same, the dream, determination, resolution, and commitment will remain the same.
Both the central and state governments are determined in this journey. During this occasion, Dr. Sharma mentioned that officials of the municipality were instructed that there should be no need for any recommendation in the work of the people. The public is supreme, and listening to them and working for them should be the top priority.”
