Cabinet Minister Colonel Rajyavardhan Singh Rathore expressed concern over recurring drainage problems during the monsoon on the C-Jaipur Development Authority (JDA) Bypass. The underpasses on both sides of the C-JDA Bypass, heavily populated, pose a challenge for the thousands of vehicles passing through during the rainy season.
Minister Rathore, in collaboration with JDA and NHAI officials, has directed a plan to strengthen the drainage system, aiming to resolve the waterlogging issue by June 2024. He instructed NHAI officials to raise the level of the road at Khirni Phatak on the C-JDA Bypass, proposing the construction of a CC road.
Dr. Jogaram, JDA representative, disclosed that NHAI would undertake the drainage work on the service road of the C-JDA Bypass (17 km). The drainage project will extend from the JDA Khirni Phatak junction to the Dravyavati River, approximately 3 kilometers from the C-JDA Bypass service road to the Army area.
