Israel’s President Isaac Herzog expressed deep relief as three hostages, Yarden Bibas, Ofer Kalderon, and Keith Siegel, returned home after being held captive in Gaza.

Herzog shared his happiness on X, saying, “Yarden Bibas, Ofer Kalderon, and Keith Siegel are finally home. How we have worried, and awaited their return.” He also mentioned the emotional reunion of Yarden with his family, saying, “Yarden’s reunion with his family is simply heartbreaking.” Herzog continued to be concerned about the Bibas family, especially Shiri, Ariel, and Kfir Bibas, who are still held captive.

The President also underlined the emotional path of Ofer and Keith’s families. “Ofer’s children, Erez and Sahar, were returned to their loving mother, Hadas during the first exchange,” Herzog mentioned. He also reminded of Keith’s wife Aviva returned to her first exchange and there she was on noisy forefront campaigning for the husband.

Reiterating commitment to Israel, Herzog declared that the nation would not give up until every last hostage is released: “We will not rest nor be silent until we return all our sisters and brothers from the hell of captivity in Gaza – until the last one.”

The previous day, Israel’s officials verified that the three hostages have indeed been released; their names have also been reported – Ofer Calderon, Keith Siegel, and Yarden Bibas.
