External Affairs Minister (EAM) Dr. S. Jaishankar will undertake an official visit to Qatar from December 30, 2024, to January 1, 2025. During his visit, Dr. Jaishankar is set to hold discussions with Qatar’s Prime Minister and Foreign Minister, H.E. Sheikh Mohammed bin Abdulrahman bin Jassim Al Thani, focusing on enhancing the bilateral relationship between India and Qatar.
The visit will cover a broad spectrum of issues, including political cooperation, trade, investment, energy, security, and cultural exchanges. With a strong Indian diaspora in Qatar, people-to-people ties have reached new heights, further cementing the relationship between the two nations.
