On Tuesday, Dr Soumya Gurjar, the Greater Mayor of the Municipal Corporation, initiated a cleanliness campaign as part of the Swachhta Pakhwada celebrations at Gate No. of Sawai Mansingh Hospital. She commenced sweeping alongside Swachhta Warriors from 2nd. During the event, Committee Chairman, Deputy Health Commissioner Naveen Bhardwaj, Deputy Commissioner Santlal Makkar, and other officials were present.
The Mayor has decided to recognise and honour the cleanliness warriors for their outstanding contributions. She emphasised the inclusion of the general public in this cleanliness campaign. The Mayor instructed the CSI and SI present to immediately carry out tasks such as door-to-door garbage collection, road sweeping, cutting grass
and bushes on the roadside, and removal of open garbage depots.
