Former Water Resources Minister Dr Mahesh Joshi has questioned the BJP government about accommodating guests coming to the Digi Conference in the newly constructed flats for legislators.
While targeting the state government, he said that the decision to accommodate guests attending the Digi Conference in the newly constructed flats for legislators is like diminishing the honour of representatives.
He said, “The Digi Conference is going to be held in Rajasthan, which is a good thing for us.
The Rajasthan government and the Chief Minister should follow the ‘Atithi Devo Bhava tradition.’ However, providing accommodation in the newly constructed flats for legislators, where legislators have not yet started living, to guests who are not eligible to stay there, is similar to diminishing the honour of representatives.”
He sarcastically said, “What form of the BJP is this, which, while residing in the opposition, frequently accused the previous Congress government of being dominated by bureaucracy?”
He has urged the Chief Minister to reconsider the decision to accommodate guests attending this Digi Conference in the newly constructed flats for legislators to maintain the honour of representatives.
