Aurangabad: Near Bijhar village of NH 139 of Mufassil police station area, an uncontrollable tractor laden with cattle fodder rammed into the auto of baraatis returning from party at 5.30 am on Wednesday morning. In this accident, a baraati died and seven people were injured. The local people informed the Mufassil police station and got involved in the rescue operation.
Mufassil police reached the spot with the help of villagers and brought all the injured to Sadar Hospital for treatment, but doctors here declared one dead. The deceased was identified as 35-year-old Lalan Yadav, a resident of Hajipur in Madanpur police station area. While the injured have been identified as Triveni Pal, Surendra Pal, residents of Padrava village of Madanpur police station area and Lakhwinder Pal, Arun Pal, Kamta Yadav, Devnandan Pal, Vijay Yadav, residents of Hajipur.
All the injured are being treated at Sadar Hospital.
