The govt of Maharashtra has recently demanded the cancellation of the previous month’s NEET exam, asserting, that the results are against the state’s students.

Talking further about this issue, Maharashtra Medical Education Minister Hasan Mushrif alleged, ‘The NEET exams were probably conducted after taking money. The results are such that no student of Maharashtra will get admission for the MBBS course in government or private college in the state…This has caused injustice to Maharashtra, and it must be immediately cancelled. We are going to tell NMC about it’.

Further, the education has also declared, that he’s thinking of going to the court.

Earlier, congress leader Priyanka Gandhi Vadra targeted government over the NEET issue and also demanded the problem to be resolved through investigation on Friday.

NEET Exam Results Controversy

After the June 4 announcement of the NEET results, numerous students raised concerns regarding irregularities in mark allocation.

They alleged that due to inflated marks, an unusually high number of 67 candidates achieved a perfect score of 720/720, consequently securing top ranks.

Furthermore, six of these students were from the same exam center in Haryana.

However, the National Testing Agency has dismissed the allegations, and asserted, that changes made in NCERT books and grace marks awarded to compensate for time lost at examination centers are some of the reasons behind students obtaining higher scores.
