Madhya Pradesh Police on Tuesday arrested Baba Vairagyanand Giri on the charges of rape.
The accused Vairagyanand Giri is also known as Mirchi Baba.
Moreover, the police had registered a case under IPC section 376 (Punishment for rape).
“A case was registered under section 367 of the IPC. The accused has been arrested,” ACP Nidhi Saxena said.
However, further investigation into the matter is underway.
