Lionel Messi recently praised Real Madrid as the best club in the world, following their impressive 15th UEFA Champions League title win. Messi’s comments came after Real Madrid secured a resounding victory over Borussia Dortmund at Wembley Stadium.

In an interview with InfoBae, Messi credited Real Madrid’s Champions League triumph under Carlo Ancelotti, asserting their status as the world’s top team. He highlighted Real Madrid’s impressive form throughout the season, culminating in their Champions League success.

Recapping the final match, both teams played a tactical first half, but Real Madrid dominated the second half, securing victory with goals from Dani Carvajal and Vinicius Junior. Despite facing injury challenges, Real Madrid showcased their quality, finishing the La Liga season with 95 points and winning their 36th league title.

Jude Bellingham’s contributions were significant for Real Madrid, emerging as their top scorer with 19 goals, while Vinicius Junior also played a pivotal role with 16 goals and five assists.

Meanwhile, Messi himself had a productive season with Inter Miami in the MLS, scoring 12 goals in 12 matches after his surprising move from Paris Saint-Germain in 2023. As an eight-time Ballon d’Or winner, Messi’s impact continued to be felt on the field even in the MLS.
